Ghanasportspage.com can announce that St. Gallen defender Musah Nuhu is ready to leave the Swiss Super League side after a four-year stay considering an offer from other clubs who are ready for his service.
The 25-year-old defender starred with WAFA between the 2017 and 2019 seasons which led him to join the Swiss side on loan.
Musah was also instrumental in the team’s second finish last season in the Switzerland league.
The former Ghana U23 defender put in an outstanding display during his stay with the club. He was named among the Ghana squad for the 2019 AFCON but the ex-WAFA player couldn’t make it due to injury.
Finishing fifth on the table of the league this season, Musah with his compatriots Lawrence Ati and Kwadwo Duah helped their side to reach the finals Swiss Cup but lost to Lugano.
The player’s contract with St. Gallen ended last month after the season and not feeling like extending his stay.
Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Original FM, the Ghanaian international revealed, “Am always open for any move. The contract just ended this season.
“Am ever ready for a move and we are negotiating for that. I would prefer to make a move and face another challenge.”
Nuhu joined FC St. Gallen in the summer of 2018 on loan from WAFA. He impressed in the second half of the season and in May 2019 it was confirmed, that he had been handed a three-year permanent deal with the club.
