The Black Stars of Ghana have clinched a historic victory on penalty shootout after beating Chile 3-1 to finish third at the Kirin Tournament.
After a tough battle in the 90 minutes, Otto Addo’s side ended the game with nine man-squad following Alidu Seidu and Mubarak Wakaso’s red card but the African giants were able to clear their lines to keep clean sheet.
The Black Stars also put up an outstanding performance against the South American side to wipe off their abysmal performance in the opener against Japan.
The two sides were unable to take an advantage in the entire game duration but Ghana appeared close after making two shots on target.

Thanks to the ex-U-20 goalkeeper, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen who made a super saves to deny the South Americans in his second debut as Ghana ended the tournament with positive result in the four nations mini tournament held in Japan.
