Asante Kotoko midfielder, Richard Boadu has named their week 30 game against Berekum Chelsea as the toughest and the most challenging game he played this season and how sad he was after conceding a goal defeat.

Agadas, a former Medeama SC midfielder, is considered to be one of the best midfielders in the Ghana Premier League after joining the Porcupine Warriors.

The newly-GPL champions were defeated 1-0 by the Berekum based side at the Baba Yara Sports at the latter part of the season.

Kevin Andoh scored an 80th minute goal to snatch the maximum points for the visitors.

Agadas was asked on a Kumasi-based Pure FM, about the most challenging opponent he faced in the 2021/22 season. He said, as quoted by Ghanasportspage.com, “The tough match that we lost and I was sad is the game against Berekum Chelsea. It pains me a lot. We have some teams like Berekum Chelsea though am not saying they are a lower team. That points was very important to us because we had already lost some of our previous games at that time and it pains a lot because of how the goal came. That’s the tough game and it pains me a lot.”

Asante Kotoko were crowned as the champions last weekend after claiming 3-0 triumph over relegated Elmina Sharks on week 33 of the Ghana Premier League. Coach Prosper Ogum’s side will conclude the season come Sunday in an away fixture against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.
