A delegation from the German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim has reportedly opened talks with Hearts of Oak defender Samuel Inkoom. The player has confirmed to Ghanasportspage.com following a meeting.
Chinese-based Wuhan Three Football Club is also among the teams who had been targeting the highly-rated right-back.
Primarily a defensive-minded player, Inkoom is comfortable playing at the right-wing.
The U-20 World Cup winner has been wowing scouts with his performances for Hearts of Oak.
His ability was underlined earlier after he returned to the local league with a stunning performance despite his age.
The meeting between Samuel Inkoom and the delegation from Hoffenheim was held in the past hours as part of their visit to the former GPL champions Hearts of Oak.
As stated earlier, the Phobians have signed a partnership deal with American-based club Cincinnati and TSG Hoffenheim.
It means that the partnership agreement with the two clubs will focus on the core areas of the collaboration being education, technical know-how, and transferring of players.
Should the deal happen, Inkoom will be the second player to move after Salim Adams who joined the MLS side as part of the relationships forged between FC Cincinnati, and TSG Hoffenheim.
