The confederation of African Football (CAF) has postponed the regulatory deadline to submit the engagement requests of qualified clubs for TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup to 31st July 2022.
CAF agreed to postpone the date during their meeting held on the 17th of June, 2022. Two clubs from Ghana will represent this year’s CAF Interclub competitions, Asante Kotoko has already booked their ticket to play the Champions League whilst Bechem United or Hearts of Oak will represent the country in the Confederations Cup competitions.
In the framework of the organization of CAF’s interclub competitions for the 2022/2023 season, engagement has been opened today on the competition management system of CAF.
During the meeting, they stated that all qualified clubs through the various member Associations should request to register on the CMS by the regulations of both competitions.
