Top GPL defender, Vincent Atinga, has given a positive testimony on how ex-Black Stars defender, Rashid Sumaila helped him to settle in Kuwait.
His testimony come with praises following how the former Black Stars player interfered to make a stamp on his move to Al Qadsia after a year deal with Albanian side, Tirana.
The Medeama SC defender after enjoying a superb term with Hearts of Oak made a move in 2018 to face a new challenge.
Atinga, who won the 2017 WAFU Cup with the Black Stars B departed the country at the expiration of his contract with the Phobians for greener pastures and according to him, the former Asante Kotoko guardsman has been of help in his career.
He revealed his move to Kuwaiti top-flight side Al Qadsia was orchestrated by Rashid Sumaila.
Speaking in an interview with Original Tv’s Sports Punch Show, he testified; ” Rashid Sumaila is a human being, he is not God but I can say he is kind. He came to take me to Kuwait to play in the same team whiles we were all center-backs but he was able to come for me when he was searching for someone to play with and he wanted me to shine.
“He told me I will not pay ur salary, bonuses and others but don’t disgrace me. What I want is making me proud.
“I felt good with him. He is my savior there and he even takes me out, do shoppings for me,” says Atinga.
