The Ghana Football Association has announced 4th September 2022 as the date for the Super Cup clash between Premier League winner, Asante Kotoko, and the FA Cup Champions. (Yet to be known).
This is to be played between the League Champions and the FA Cup winners of the 2021/2022 season according to PLR Article 9. Asante Kotoko who are the league Champions will face either Hearts of Oak or Bechem United.
The FA Cup final date has been scheduled to play on 26th June 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium between Accra Hearts Of Oak and Bechem United.
Ghana FA aims at releasing dates for next season early to aid members to plan effectively for the 2022/2023 Football season.
The Super Cup ushers in the new season, and the kick-off dates will be announced later.
League champions Asante Kotoko will use the match to prepare for their 2022/2023 CAF Champions League campaign whilst Bechem United or Hearts of Oak will also use it to prepare for the 2022/2023 CAF Confederation Cup.
