An update from a close source indicates that the Ghana Football Association will announce the replacement for Ashantigold Sporting Club in the Ghana Premier League before the end of the day.
The Obuasi-based club has been demoted to the Division 2 League after being found Guilty of Match Manipulation in their 2020/21 Ghana Premier League Matchday 34 game against Inter Allies.
Earlier this morning, the Ghana Football Association dismissed the appeal cases filed by Ashantigold SC and Inter Allies against the verdict from the Disciplinary Committee.
Both clubs will participate in the 2022/23 Division 2 League following the decision from the Ghana Football Association.
