The second round of the 2021/22 Upper West Akim District Juvenile and 3rd Division League second round will kick off today, the District Football Association (DFA) led by Chairman Jeffrey Ewusi William has confirmed.
The second round is expected to kick off at exactly 1:00pm with two games coming up.
All the clubs are fighting to be pacesetters, and have prepared massively to go in for the second round of the season.
Adeiso United are currently leading the 3rd Division League table with ten points and are still hoping to make if after the season.
They will open the second round in their away fixture against Sukrong United Academy on Sunday, the 17th of July, while Mepom United encounter with Jew Sporting Club headlines the matches on Sunday.
Adeiso Soccer Warriors will also start the second lap with Young Kotoko at home.
During an interview with Jeffrey Ewusi William, he appealed to cooperate bodies in the district to support the District Football Association. He further advised various cooperate bodies across the country to back their community football clubs.
