The head coach for the Black Galaxies, Annor Walker has finally named skippers for the team ahead of their CHAN double header against Benin.
The team will be led by Hearts of Oak midfielder, Gladson Awako as a substantive captain. He will be assisted by Medeama’s Vincent Atinga as a 1st vice captain and Asante Kotoko’s Imoro Ibrahim as the 2nd vice chairman.
The Local Black Stars of Ghana will host Benin in the first leg of the preliminary stage of the CHAN qualifiers on July 24th, 2022 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
After the appointment, the head coach Annor Walker stated; “Earlier today we appointed Gladson Awako as captain and he will be assisted by Vincent Atinga and Imoro Ibrahim.
“I urge all the players to give them necessary support to help us achieve success in our upcoming qualifiers,” Annor Walker told GFA Communications.
