Aduana Stars Football Club have appointed Paa Kwesi Fabin as their new head coach for the second time.

Paa Kwasi Fabin will be in charge of the Dormaa-based club for the upcoming season.

The Ghana U-17 boss will be assisted by former Hearts of Oak physical trainer, W.O Tandoh.

Tandoh parted ways with Accra Hearts of Oak after the just ended season.

The appointment of the new coaches was announced officially on the club’s social media platforms on 20th July, 2022.

Fabin led the Fire Boys in 2020 before he parted ways with them to focus on the national team.

He was to take charge of the team in the then ongoing 2019–2020 season. The team was in 2nd place when he was appointed. He helped them to occupy the 1st place before the league was put on hold abruptly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The league was later suspended and subsequently cancelled with no team winning the title. Fabin was maintained ahead of the 2020–2021 season which was to be placed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 63-year-old tactician has managed ten GPL clubs including Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Inter Allies, Brekum Arsenal and Kpando Hearts of Lions.

The Dorma-based GPL side finished last season’s GPL at the 11th with 45 points.
