2021/22 MTN FA Cup winners, Accra Hearts of Oak will officially begin their pre-season campaign on Tuesday, 26th July, 2022 for the upcoming campaign.
The Rainbows are yet to disclose the venue(s) for preparations ahead of the 2022/23 season but Coach Samuel Boadu and his boys are likely to begin their tour in the nations capital, Accra.
According to the Ghana FA, the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 9 to Monday, September 12, 2022 across all nine Premier League centers.
Prior to the start of next season, clubs are to note that there will be a mandatory rest period between June 20 to July 19th 2022.
The former African champions will hope to recover for the next season and also for the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Rainbows will engage in some physical activities to boost their performance as well as playing some friendlies to fill the vacuums in the team.
Hearts of Oak will also participate in the Ghana League Clubs Association, GHALCA Top Six competition to prepare for the new season.
The Accra giants finished the last season’s African campaign and the GPL season on a poor run.
It took them the MTN FA Cup title victory to make it to the CAF Confederations Cup.
