Ghana Black Galaxies head Coach, Annor Walker has identified his side as better than the Junior Squirrels of Benin after snatching a 3 – 0 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The top tactician says Ghana was tactically and physically better than the visitors in the game.
Nonetheless, he further stated that he knew Ghana would win the game by 3 goals.
Hearts of Oak trio, Afriyie Barnieh, Mohammed Alhassan, and the captain Gladson Awako assured Ghana with the hopes of qualifying into the next round with three goals.
Ghana is still aiming to bounce back after missing out on the last three editions. The task is not easy to be broken but Ghana had an 80 Percent chance of facing Nigeria in the next round.
Speaking at a post-match conference, Annor Walker stated; “You know I prepared myself well and I knew if things go well for me I will get my three goals, and God has made it for me this afternoon.
“You know tactically we watched their clips and saw the way they play.
“Tactically we planned for them and all that they were doing in the game we stopped them from doing it so I will say tactically and physically we were better than them.”
Ghana will embark on a journey to play the Junior Squirrels next weekend to finalize their hopes of reaching the next stage.
