The Porcupine Warriors have grabbed the service of Ugandan top striker, Steven Mukwala on a two-year deal following an agreement with the management of the player.
Mukwala, 23, is joining the club for the upcoming season until 2024 after a stint with Uganda Rivers Authority FC (URA FC).
The stylish attacker was previously linked to join the GPL giants in the last two seasons.
The attacker is expected to land in Ghana before the club leaves the country for a pre-season in Turkey.
Mukwala signed a loan deal with Maroons FC during the 2019-2020 season.
Ghanasportspage.com can disclose that Steven Mukwala is a replacement for Frank Etouga Mbella who has been linked to join Italian Serie A side, Udinese.
He bagged 13 goals in 22 matches to win the 2019/20 Uganda Premier League golden boot award.
Mukwala, the Ugandan national team member kept his performance, ending the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League season as the top scorer of Uganda Rivers Authority (URA FC) after netting 14 goals in 24 matches.
The 23-year-old once again bagged 13 goals in the just ended the Ugandan Premier League for URA FC as the club’s second top scorer of the season.
URA FC have snatched George Ssenkaaba from Express FC to replace the forward who is leaving the club to the GPL side.
He will be the second signing of the club after the signing of Cameroonian striker, Thierry Akono.
