Frederick Ansah Botcway’s departure from Hearts of Oak left Larry Sumaila who is also leaving the club stunned.
The 25-year-old midfielder, Ansah Botcway made 23 appearances in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.
His departure has left the former Rainbows defender Larry Ibrahim Sumaila stunned.
In an interview with Atinka FM, Larry sumaila reacted, “l am surprised to see Hearts of Oak part ways with Fredrick Ansah Botchway. He had a running contract with the club and it came as a surprise to me that they have sacked six players,” Larry lamented.
Botcway, Kofi Kordzi, Patrick Razak, Manaf Umar and William Dankyi have all been released by the FA Cup winners to find a new club.
The player joined Hearts of Oak from Liberty Professionals two seasons ago as a free agent.
He is currently free agent and will be hoping to find a new club to continue his career.
Botchway was called up to the Local Black Stars ahead of their 2020 CHAN qualifiers and 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations, however he did not make the final squad.
He won three titles, the President’s Cup, the GPL and the MTN FA Cup with the Phobians.
