Black Galaxies head coach Annor Walker has set sights on helping the Ghana to win the CHAN trophy.
The Black Galaxies have struggled to compete at the tournament since 2014 when they lost to Libya on a penalty shootout in the finals and according to Annor Walker, it is his dream and prayers to help the national team B to lift the title in future.
Asked about making history and record to help the team bounce back into the CHAN tournament, Coach Annor Walker said; “That’s why I am preparing because when they appoint you for a job you also have to deliver. My prayer is to win a trophy with the team like how they are hoping for.
“It’s all about hardworking alongside my assistants and the boys. Our aim is to win the trophy for Ghana,” the experienced gaffer told Ghanasportspage.com.
The Black Galaxies departed Ghana on Friday morning with a chartered flight to Benin for the return leg scheduled for Saturday, July 30.
Ghana are a step away of advancing into the next round of the qualifiers after claiming a 3-0 win in the first leg held in Cape Coast.
Should they win or draw, they will face Nigeria in the final eliminator for a place at the upcoming tournament in Algeria.
