Asante Kotoko defender, Imoro Ibrahim has passed a medical to complete his move to Sudanese side Al Hilal Omdurman, Ghanasportspage.com can confirm.
The 22-year-old left-back is expected to put pen to paper and sign a contract after full agreement reached by the two clubs.
The Sudanese side have agreed to signed the experienced defender for a fee in the region of $410,000 including add-ons as confirmed on Tuesday by Owuraku Ampofo of Joy Sports.
Elsewhere, the most significant chunk of the add-on fee will be paid to Kotoko if the Sudanese side wins the CAF Champions League with Imoro playing a notable role.
The former Karela United defender joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2019 and helped the team win the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title by providing the most assists.
Imoro has however, established himself as one of the best defenders in the Ghanaian top-flight league, now fighting to make his way into Ghana’s final squad for the upcoming World Cup.
He bagged two (2) goals and assisted eight (8) in 27 games in the Premier League to help his side snatch the title last season.
Report from the Ghanaian journalist also indicates that Imoro will earn $10,000 monthly salary.
