Outgoing Great Olympics boss, Annor Walker has declared his readiness to coach Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The Black Galaxies head coach believes it is a dream of every tactician to work with the Porcupines and coaching them will be history in his career.
Speaking to Accra-based Original FM, the CAF License ‘A’ holder and the former Berekum Chelsea head coach indicated that he is ready to accept any offer from the GPL champions but he will only take advice from his Black Stars B assistant, Prosper Narteh Ogum before he takes any decision.
“Kotoko hasn’t approached me but it is a big club that everyone would like to coach. Coaching Kotoko will be a history for me. I will be happy to coach them. I will say yes if they appoint me.
“Prosper Narteh Ogum is my brother and I will discuss with him if they call me. I will take any advice from him. If what he says will encourage me to go I will do it because my relationship with him is like a brother for now.
“I don’t want to do anything that will hurt him. If anything I will discuss with him before I take a step”, he added.
The experienced trainer, however, confirmed his exit from Great Olympics during the one-on-one interview on Thursday and it has emerged that he will join the GPL newbies Samartex.
Asante Kotoko is unsettled with the decision of Prosper Narteh Ogum to resign as the leading trainer of the club weeks ago. The club is yet to receive an official letter from the former WAFA trainer but they are out searching for his replacement ahead of the upcoming season as they prepare to go in for the CAF Champions League in the 2022/23 season.
