Larry Ibrahim Sumaila could make a move to Aduana Stars with reports in the football fraternity suggesting the former Hearts of Oak defender is set to reunite with a former trainer, W.O Tandoh.
Larry, 25, was left out of Samuel Boadu’s plans for the upcoming season after he had struggled for playing time.
Ghanasportspage.com can confirm that the GPL giants have commenced talks with the former PAOK defender to acquire his services.
Larry Sumaila will join his former physical trainer, W.O Tandoh should the deal go through.
The right-back was part of a couple of players released by the reigning MTN FA Cup winners ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Larry joined the Rainbows three seasons ago and signed a two-year deal with an option to extend it by another year based on his performance. He made his debut during the 2019 GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition on 25 May 2019, starting and playing the full 90 minutes in a 1–0 loss to Dreams FC.
He will join W.O Tandoh who was appointed as the deputy manager for the ‘Ogya Boys’ alongside Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin after parting ways with Hearts of Oak.
