The winner of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) upcoming G6 competition will receive a cash prize of GHC 40,000 whiles the 1st and 2nd Runner up receive GHC 30,000 and GHC 20,000 respectively.
This was announced by the Vice Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association, Mr. John Ansah on Friday, August 12, 2022 during the launch of this year’s edition in Accra.
The competition, which makes a return after a long-term absence, will commence on Wednesday, August 17th when Great Olympics faces Bechem United in the opener; with Hearts of Oak facing Medeama SC on Sunday at exactly 5:00PM at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The reigning champions of the GPL, Asante Kotoko will not be playing in the upcoming edition after announcing their pull out from the competition. They have been replaced by Berekum Chelsea who finished 7th on the league log.
