The Porcupine Warriors, Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeated lower side, Panthers FC in a pre-season friendly held at Legon Park this morning.
The Accra-based lower side went on top over the Ghanaian champions with a two-goal early lead in the first half.
Former Berekum Chelsea skipper, Steven Amankona and Ernest Opoku equalized the scoreline for the GPL giants.
The energetic performance saw Kotoko coming from behind to get another two goals to secure a 4-2 win over the lower side through Ugandan striker, Steven Mukwala and Ernest Opoku.
The club postponed their Turkey trip due to visit issues as reported earlier.
The trip was originally scheduled for yesterday after the team had trained in the nation’s capital few days ago.
