The Club Licensing Committee (CL) of the Ghana FA has announced its decisions on match venues Premier League clubs submitted concerning the infrastructure criteria for their respective License application processes.
According to Ghanafa.org, the Committee took the decision based on the reports received from the club Licensing Manager during the inspection visits across the various venues.
The Committee was not satisfied with the reports of all the venues submitted. However, WAFA, Accra Sports Stadium, Baba Yara Stadium, Cape Coast Stadium, and Obuasi Len Clay stadium have been granted conditional approval pending the correction and or defects as stated in the inspection reports that were submitted on September 30, 2022.
Also, 13 clubs had their main venues Not Satisfactory and have been asked to do the right thing between 23rd to 25th August 2022 for another inspections.
The Committee has also rejected Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium when Tamale City and Real Tamale United choose as their home venue.
The decisions on the match venues shall be final or reviewed after 30th September 2022 of matchday 4 of the first round.
