The Turkish embassy in Ghana has reportedly asked GPL giants, Asante Kotoko to reduce the number of contingents for the Turkey trip.
As confirmed on Thursday, 11 August, the Porcupine Warriors were supposed to fly from Ghana on Sunday, August 14, 2022, with 65 contingents including players and officials.

According to Ghanasportspage.com, the Turkish embassy is reported to be considering a reduction of the number before granting Kotoko their visas for the trip.
The club is expected to reduce the number of contingents for the availability of visas to embark on the training tour in the coming days.
The reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League are yet to announce a new date for their trip to Turkey.
Should they embark on the tour, they will face Nigerian champions Rivers United in a friendly game organized by their traveling partners City Gate Travel and Tour in Istanbul.
