The Black stars of Ghana will play an international friendly match against Brazil next month as part of the preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The game will take place on Friday, 23rd September 2022 in Europe. Ghana FA is yet to confirm the venue. This friendly match was organized following the decision of CAF to postpone the matches in the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers.
This friendly game will give Coach Otto Addo the platform to continue the assessment of his players in the build-up to the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
“Brazil will face Ghana and Tunisia on the 23rd and 27th of September. Teams are also qualified for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022,” a CBF statement read.
“The cities and times of the friendly matches will be announced in the future.”
Black Stars will face Portugal on November 24th, South Korea on November 28th, and play Uruguay on December 2nd.
