Ghana Football Association has announced the date to begin the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League. The GFA has set Friday, September 9th to Monday, September 12th, 2022 as the kick-off date of the betPawa Premier League.
According to Ghana Football Association, the League season will end on Monday, 12th June 2023. Matchday one fixtures will start on Friday, September 9th, where Real Tamale United will be hosting newly promoted side FC Samartex 1996, and the League Champions, Asante Kotoko will welcome another newly promoted side, Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara Stadium.
MTN FA Cup winners, Accra Hearts of Oak will cross the bridge to Dormal Ahenkro to face the Ogya boys at the Emmanuel Agyemang Badu II sports complex, whilst Karela United will host Tamale City. Other fixtures include, Bibiani Goldstar vs Dreams FC, Kotoku Royals vs Accra Lions, Legon Cities vs Medeama SC, Berekum Chelsea vs King Faisal and Bechem United will travel to Accra to face Great Olympics.
Next season’s calendar will make room for a break in November and December 2022 due to FIFA World Cup in Qatar as required by FIFA for all qualified countries.
Ghana FA also announced dates to start the Division one league, MTN FA Cup, and women’s Premier League. Below are the details:
