Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of former Liberty Professionals center-back, Sheriff Mohammed on a 3-year-deal.
Last season, the club signed defensive who was also named midfielder, Sheriff Mohammed.
The new Sheriff Mohammed is a defender and who formerly played for Liberty Professionals. He had trials with the French club, Bordeaux but could not sign for them as the club got relegated and they also had financial issues.
Sheriff has been training with the Porcupines since his return to Ghana.
As confirmed on the official Twitter page of the club, Sheriff Mohammed is a Porcupine.
He will become the club’s tenth signing in the ongoing transfer window after Frederick Asare, Nicholas Mensah, Steven Mukwala, Ernest Osei Poku, Moise Pouaty, Eric Serge, Enoch Morrison and Thomas Pele.
