Match Report: Sudanese giants, Al Hilal Omdurman see off Asante Kotoko in a club friendly

Coach Seydou Zerbo tasted first defeat after Asante Kotoko SC lost 2-0 Al Hilal Omdurman in a club friendly in Sudan.

The Porcupine Warriors played one out of their four scheduled friendly matches against the Sudanese side as part of their preparations.

They made an introduction of their new signings Moise Pouaty, Steven Mukwala, Nicholas Osei Bonsu, Eric Zeze and others.

The team was led by the their newly appointed captain, Richard Boadu ‘Agadas’.

The GPL giants came up with a good performance against Imoro Ibrahim’s side but a goal in each half was enough to guide Al Hilal to a 2-0 win at the end of the game at the Omdurman Stadium.

Asante Kotoko will once again battle same opponent again on Friday before they take on their additional friendlies ahead of the upcoming season.
