The management of Sudanese giants, Al Hilal Omdurman have rewarded Ghanaian top-flight side, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The award was received by the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah on behalf of the Porcupine Warriors in recognition of their contribution to development of football in Africa.
Asante Kotoko are currently preparing for the upcoming season in Sudan. They left the shores of Ghana on Sunday for the second phase of their pre-season training after finishing the first phase in Accra.
Kotoko lost to the Sudanese side by a two-goal scoreline on Tuesday.
They will play the second clash on Friday as part of their preparations before they face Simba SC from Tanzania and other opponent.
