Ghana Football Association has announced the dates for the BetPawa Premier League which has been scheduled to kick off on Friday, 9th September to Monday, 12th September 2022.
According to Ghana Football Association, the League season will end on Monday, 12th June 2023. Matchday one fixtures will start on Friday, September 9th, where Real Tamale United will be hosting newly promoted side FC Samartex 1996, and the League Champions, Asante Kotoko will welcome another newly promoted side, Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara Stadium.
MTN FA Cup winners, Accra Hearts of Oak will cross the bridge to Dormal Ahenkro to face the Ogya boys at the Agyemang Badu II sports complex, whilst Karela United will host Tamale City. Other fixtures include, Bibiani Goldstar vs Dreams FC, Kotoku Royals vs Accra Lions, Legon Cities vs Medeama SC, Berekum Chelsea vs King Faisal and Bechem United will travel to Accra to face Great Olympics.
Next season’s calendar will make room for a break in November and December 2022 due to FIFA World Cup in Qatar as required by FIFA for all qualified countries.
