MTN FA Cup winners, Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has named a 35-man squad for the second phase of their pre-season training in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region as they prepare to square off against their rivals, Asante Kotoko in the Super Cup clash which is scheduled for Monday, September 5 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The GPL giants commenced their preseason training weeks ago in the nation’s capital Accra and played some friendly games to strengthen the team ahead of the new season.
The list includes four(4) goalkeepers, eleven (11) defenders, ten (10) midfielders, and ten (10) attackers/forwards. The 35 players and the technical team are expected to touch down on Monday Morning.
Hearts of Oak are hoping to bounce back well for the 2022/23 season as they go in for the CAF Confederations Cup. They will commence the season with an away fixture against Aduana Stars in Dormaa.
We can also confirm that the six Phobians who are currently at the camp of the Black Galaxies will join the team after the second-leg clash against Nigeria in Abuja.
