The football governing body in Ghana, GFA has welcomed Access Bank to become the Division One League’s main sponsor ahead of the new season.
The well known bank in Ghana has agreed to financially support and sponsor the second tier football competition in the country with an amount worth $250,000.
The deal was announced by the GFA boss Kurt Okraku, during the 28th Ordinary Congress held in Pampram.
“The GFA has successfully concluded a $250,000 partnership deal with Access Bank that will see the bank come on board as official bankers of the FA and also headline sponsors of the Division one League,” Okraku said.
He added, “Melcom will provide 5000 Ghana cedis vouchers for all Division One League clubs for the next two years.”
The league is scheduled to begin on September 30, 2022 for the clubs to fight for the GPL slot.
