Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak have replied to Dr. Randy for his comment following the team’s decision to use their junior players to compete in the just-ended GHALCA G6 tournament.
The GFA Executive Council Member slammed the Phobians a few days ago and expressed disappointment with the club’s attitude towards the G6 competition.
In an interview with Original FM, he said: “You don’t disrespect your team and the tradition that way. You don’t disrespect the organization that you belong to (GHALCA). You don’t even disrespect your supporters. You don’t do that.
“If you are not ready to participate, tell the organizers that we are sorry.” He stated.
After this reaction, the Phobians passed a comment to clear air through their spokesperson, Kwame Opare Addo during an interview.
The communication director of the MTN FA Cup reigning champions stated that he disagree with those commentators.
“We decided to ensure that our young players will get the chance to prove themselves.
“The competition rules allowed us to use guest players.
“The decision has helped the club because we have identified some young players who have joined the team for the second phase of our pre-season in Kumasi,” he said.
