Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Yussif has urged Ghanaians to use football as a tool to unite the country.
Football is said to have the power to bring people together regardless of their ages, gender, race, culture, nationality.
The game has managed to ease political tensions and conflicts at certain points as well in many countries.
Speaking at the GFA’s 28th Ordinary Congress, the minister called on the nation to use the game to reunite the nation.
“We must resolve to use football as a tool to unite our country. Anytime our national teams do well internationally, the whole nation unites behind them.”
