Ghanaian Champions Asante Kotoko turn 87 years of existence today, and their arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak have joined the celebration with a teasing birthday message for the 24-time Ghana Premier League winners.
Founded on August 31, 1935, the Porcupine Warriors are celebrating their 87th Anniversary today, Wednesday, August 31, 2022, but their arch rivals are not in any mood of sparing them of trolling.
In their messages to Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts of Oak obviously triggered the argument of who reigns in Ghana football between the two clubs, describing the Porcupine Warriors as “The second biggest club in Ghana”.
Having won the IFFHS’ African Club of the 20th Century, two CAF Champions League trophies, 24 Ghana Premier League titles among others, Asante Kotoko is regarded as one of the best football clubs in Africa, and they as well hold themselves as the biggest football club in Ghana. On the contrary, the Phobians think otherwise and have laughed off the claims in an attempt to join the Porcupines in their Anniversary celebration.
“Happy Birthday to our PADI(s) in Kumasi. The second biggest club in Ghana. IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY. Like “they” will say Hip ! Hip !! Hip !!!……”HULLLLAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY”, Hearts of Oak tweeted.
