Black Galaxies coach Annor Walker is very optimistic about achieving a 100 percent record in the CHAN qualifier when they play Nigeria in the second leg encounter in Abuja.
The Black Galaxies of Ghana will bring to an end their CHAN qualifier journey tomorrow at the Moshood Abiola Sports Stadium against the Super Eagles.
Should the team maintain its 2-0 lead, this will be the first time Ghana will qualify for the competition since 2014.
Ghana has missed out on the last three editions, having finished second in 2009 (the maiden edition) and 2014 where they lost to Libya on penalties.
Ahead of tomorrow’s encounter, Coach Annor Walker has ruled out fear from the camp of the Galaxies as he hopes of making Ghana proud when the referee blows the last whistle of the game.
“There’s no fear in camp. Why are we scared? We’ve played in Ghana and defeated them. To me and the playing body, we are entering the game like we are visiting them for the first time like the first leg.
“There’s nothing like ‘FEAR’ in the technical team, me particular (Annor Walker) and the players. We are well prepared and ready to qualify in Nigeria and come back,” he stated during an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
The Black Galaxies left Ghana through a chattered flight at the Air Force Base in Accra.
The second leg clash is scheduled for 16:00 GMT.
