Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalie, Kwame Bash and ex-Hearts of Oak midfieder, Frederick Ansah Botchway have joined Ethiopian top-flight side, Adama City Football Club.
Both Kwame Baah and Ansah Botchway, who parted ways with the reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko and MTN FA Cup holders, Hearts of Oak are joining their new side on a year deal for the 2022/23 season.
Having spent three years with Asante Kotoko, goalkeeper Kwame Baah left the Kumasi-based club after rejecting contract extension offer from the club ahead of the 2022/23 Ghana football season.
Baah struggled for game time at the club.
He was relegated to the bench with Razak Abalora being settled on as the first-choice goalkeeper.
Following Abalora’s move to FC Sheriff Tiraspol, Danlad Ibrahim took over the first-choice goalkeeper.
Elsewhere, Ansah Botchway who reportedly signed a two-year deal with the Timber Giants, Samartex also left Accra Hearts of Oak after being declared as surplus to requirements.
