The Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak have received a good news following the return of their midfielder, Salifu Ibrahim.
Ibrahim was injured in Hearts’ Ghana Premier League, GPL Matchday 31 fixture against Karela United at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday and he was ruled out for the rest of the season.
The club’s medical team confirmed that the player would be out for a considerable number of times for treatment.
It was the second time in the 2021/22 season that Ibrahim suffered an injury setback after being injured in this same fixture during the first round encounter played at the CAM Park, Anyinase.
Now the Rainbows are happy to see their midfield controller back at training ahead of the new season.
The player has been impressive for the capital club since he joined them during the second round of 2020/21 season from Techiman Eleven Wonders, helping them to win the League and Cup double.
He started last season’s campaign on a high as Accra Hearts of Oak sought to retain their titles, but, it ended before the last whistle of the season.
