• Konadu Yiadom is now a Phobian
• The former WAFA defender has been unveiled by his new club ahead of the new season.
Konadu Yiadom has revealed why he agreed to join the Ghana Premier League second most successful winners, Hearts of Oak despite the long saga between his management and the club.
The lanky defender was deemed to have been close to completing a move to the club during the transfer window in January before it was turned down.
However, it was announced in August 2022 that the Black Galaxies defender has finally signed a three-year deal with the club.
To become a Phobian, the stylish and talented defender has made a revelation on why he opted to join the Accra giants.
As posted on the official social media pages of the Rainbows, the player insists his new home will be the place to achieve his aim and joining them is a dream come true.
“I chose the best team in our league because I have to achieve my career ambitions.
“This is where the aim will be most fulfilled. It’s a dream come true.”
Having registered for the CAF Confederation Cup, Konadu will also play in the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup.
His relationship with Dennis Korsah, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Suraj Seidu, Mohammed Alhassan and Gladson Awako at the Black Galaxies will still continue at the club side.
