The football governing body in Ghana, (GFA) has announced a $1 million partnership deal with Mara to become the official partner of the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars for the upcoming Mundial in Qatar.
The current football administration are at the right direction in terms of getting sponsorship for Ghana football.
Ahead of the new season, Betting firm, BetPawa, Malta Guinness and Access Bank have all agreed to sponsor the Ghana Premier League, Women’s Premier League and the Division One.
The new partnership deal for the Black was announced today, (September 9, 2022).
The partnership deal worth $1 million from Mara will boost the four-time African champions when the World’s most prestigious tournament begins.
MARA, a cryptocurrency company backed by Coinbase Global Inc secured $23 million in funding from companies including Alameda Research LLC and Distributed Global LLC after its official launch in May 2022.
The Black Stars will square off against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H of the tournament.
