Accra Hearts of Oak travels all the way to Dormaa Ahenkuro to face Aduana Stars the Ogya boys in a week fixture of the BetPawa Premier League.
Accra Hearts of Oak are in high spirit after making great signings to beef up their squad ahead of the campaign.
Hearts of Oak, however will go in to break their long-term winless run in Dormaa.
Samuel Boadu and his lads need to open the 2022-23 campaign on a promising note and win over the Ogya Boys will be a perfect as they aim at reclaiming the title from rivals Asante Kotoko.
The Phobians are winless in their last five games in the Ghana League, losing all of the last four including 4-1 to Real Tamale United.
They have failed to win at the grounds of the Ogya Boys since their 1-0 victory in 2014.
Hearst of Oak last visit to the venue ended in a 2-0 defeat. They can make a step further with a win with the current signings.
Ahead of the encounter, the gaffer, Samuel Boadu is expected to start Ayi in posts, Samuel Nkoom, Mohammed Alhassan, Konadu Yiadom and Korsah at the defense with Awako, Esso leading the midfield with captain Fatawu Mohammed who has switched from the right-back to the midfield.
At the attacking role, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh will partner Suraj Seidu and Junior Kaaba for the final production (goal).
