• He has left the shores of Ghana to sign a deal with an Egyptian side
Asante Kotoko SC forward, Franck Mbella Etouga has arrived in Cairo to seal his move to Egyptian Premier League side, Al-Masry SC in a deal worth around US$400,000.
Etouga will receive US$25,000 every month according to Ghanaian journalist, Nuhu Adams.
The 21-year-old Cameronian attacker who joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three year deal last year is ‘unhappy’ at Asante Kotoko and is forcing a move away from the Ghanaian giants as reported.
Mbella started an advanced talks with Al Masry weeks ago and could sign a 4-year deal with the Green Eagles
The prolific attacker completed his move from Cameroonian top-flight side AS Fortuna to Asante Kotoko after an impressive form in the 2020/21 season.
He scored 21 goals in 30 games in his debut season in the Ghana Premier League last season, helping the Porcupine Warriors to clinch their 25th league title.
