Hearts of Oak trainer, Samuel Boadu and their midfielder, Gladson Awako have reacted to the Sunday’s game against Asante Kotoko.
The huge fixture will be the first Super Clash of the new Premier League season, where both teams will search for their first win in the domestic league.
The two sides have undergone plenty of change during the off season, with two coaches making a number of additions to their squad.
Despite the moves made already, the two teams have failed to impress their fans.
Hearts of Oak are yet to pick a win in the just started BetPawa Premier League. They lost to Aduana Stars and drew 1-1 with Great Olympics.
The Porcupines Warriors who are yet to play a game in the Ghanaian top-flight league also failed to progress into the next stage of the CAF Champions League after a 3-1 defeat to RC Kadiogo on penalties.
However, the two Phobians have reacted to the upcoming clash after the team’s 1-1 draw against Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.
SAMUEL BOADU
“All the mistakes that we committed that caused us the goal we have to go and work on it and insist…
“There is a way out we can send the ball to either conner or throw but is quite unfortunate but it is football.”
GLADSON AWAKO
“Olympics and Kotoko is a different as we all know. We lost to Aduana, we came prepared for this game which we felt so good, we felt we can have the three points to get ourselves ready for the next game. Yes, there is a pressure but we need to calm down and go in for the Kotoko. We all know is difficult to play in Kumasi but we are going there to surprise them.”
