The first Super clash of the 2022/23 BetPawa Premier League season is set for today.

The game is scheduled for 3:00pm at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Today’s clash promises to be an exciting game with both teams looking for their first win of the season.

Asante Kotoko bowed out of the African Champions League competition last Sunday after losing to Burkinabe champions RC Kadiogo and, they will be eager to bounce back today after leaving most of their fans heartbroken with that defeat.

POSSIBLE LINE-UP

Asante Kotoko will play against their rivals without Etouga Mbella and Georges Mfegue. Currently, the two players have left the shores of Ghana for a new deal in Egypt.

The Cameronian imports were in the squad that played against the Rainbows in the first and the second leg of last season’s Super Clash.

Having lost to Kadiogo at home, the new coach Seydou Zerbo is expected to team-up with new tactics and selection for today’s game.

However, Samuel Boadu will also aim to enter game with positive vibes despite the absence of their talisman, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who is out for national duty.

With three experienced goalkeepers at the camp of the Phobians, the coach will name the one of his choice today.

Obeng Junior, Suraj Seidu and Junior Kaaba are likely to start at the attacking role of Samuel Boadu’s selection.
