The first Super Clash of the 2022/23 BetPawa Premier League season between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak ended 1-1 after a late minutes header from Caleb Amankwa salvaged a point for the Rainbows.

Samuel Boadu has been busily trying to lift spirits of his side after defeat against Aduana Stars and a 1-1 draw with Olympics.

Asante Kotoko also came in for the maximum points to impress their fans after their elimination from the CAF Champions League.

The Porcupines were the better team for large parts of the contest, finding their rhythm in the second half and were pushing hard for a goal as it ticked through Yussif Mubarik but it was later equalized by Caleb Amankwa.
