Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak have scheduled to leave Ghana on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 for the upcoming CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round first leg against ASR Bamako of Mali.
The Ghanaian giants who are yet to appoint a new gaffer following the departure of Samuel Boadu are expected to depart on Thursday and have a day training in Mali before the game.
The game between the two African sides is scheduled for Saturday, October 8th 2022 at Stade Bamako.
Hearts of Oak last made an appearance in the 2021 edition but failed to get into the group stage following a defeat to Algerian side JS Saoura.
The 2021/22 Ghanaian FA Cup winners were drawn as stand-by in the first round for the winner between Burkina Faso’s As Douanes and Mali’s AS Real de Bamako and will now seek to redeem themselves after last season’s humiliation performance in both competitions (CAF Champions League and the Confederations Cup).
