Head coach for Samartex FC, Annor Walker has expressed worries following the court injunction on the Ghana Premier League sponsored by BetPawa.
The Ghana Football Association decided to put the Premier League on hold after week three following a Motion on Notice for Injunction filed on Wednesday, September 28, at the Human Rights High Court by Ashantigold SC and served on the FA’s lawyers.
Following the receipt of the Motion, the Association has decided to put the league on hold until the determination of a Motion on Notice for Injunction by the court on October 14, 2022.
However, Annor Walker who recently joined the newly-promoted side is worried about the state of the league, claiming things will fall apart.
“We are worried because things will fall apart when the league is still on hold. It will slow things. It has affected us but it is also good to happen. Others will use it to prepare well, especially those who did not start well,” he told Ghanasportspage.com.
Annor Walker’s side rank twelfth on the league log with three points.
They opened the season with a 0-0 draw with RTU and played 1-1 with Berekum Chelsea before they were held to a 2-2 stalemate with Aduana Stars.
