Interim Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, David Ocloo has named a 20-man squad to face ASR Bamako on Sunday ahead of the 2nd preliminary round of the 2022/2023 CAF Confederation Cup.
The gaffer has dropped the first-choice goalie Ofori Antwi, Daniel Kordie, and also Cameronian International Yassan Haaland Ouatching due to an injury situation. David Ocloo also did not invite Zakaria Yakubu to the squad. But the coach has replaced him with Salifu Ibrahim and Isaac Mensah.
However, the host will also need to beat AS Real Bamako 4-0 on Sunday to seal qualification into the competition’s final prelims. The ‘Phobians’ were beaten 3-0 by the Malian giants in Bamako last weekend in the first-leg fixture.
The scorpions will play as guests to the Ghanaian giants in the return fixture of the 2nd prelims to seek the ticket for the final play-off of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup competition.
