Hearts of Oak legend, Dong Bortey hailed Gladson Awako, Mohammed Alhassan and Richmond Ayi after the Rainbows 1-0 win over AS Real Bamako on Sunday.
The Phobians went into the CAF Confederations Cup second preliminary round tie full of confidence after defeat in the first leg in Mali.
Despite their 1-0 home win, they ended up being knocked out from the competition as they face fresh criticism.
But Hearts of Oak legend Dong Bortey chose to reflect on the positives after the game as he hailed three players but unhappy with the performance of the other players.
Asked about the teams performance, the legend said, “It was only three players that impress me in Hearts Of Oak game against Real Bamako at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“I will say Gladson Awako, Mohammed Alhassan and Richmond Ayi. The rest were playing like a babies as if they are playing in a Division two League,” he told Nimdie FM.
