Slavko Matić has offered his first interview as Accra Hearts of Oak manager, speaking candidly to the club’s communications about joining the Rainbow family.
He touched on a number of interesting points, including the fact that Hearts of Oak need to be at their best to win every game and trophies.
The Serbian tactician also stated that Africa is a big challenge but he is aiming to make a big success with the Ghanaian giants. Slavko also discussed about putting wheels in motion for the Rainbows.
He is expected to have his first training with the boys in the coming days after being appointed as the new gaffer of the club following the departure of Coach Samuel Boadu who left his role two weeks ago.

“We want to find the way to play good football and give the chance to all the players. Also, we want to take the trophies. As I say, Africa is a big challenge, I come in a very big club, from today is the best club in the World” he said.
The Serbian trainer holds a UEFA Pro Licence and has vast experience having managed clubs in Europe and in the Asia. He will be in charge of Hearts for the next two years.
The 46-year-old became unattached after parting ways with Bulgarian club Septemvri Sofia few weeks ago following an unpleasant start to the 2022-23 season.
