After failing to win in the first two games of the season, Bechem United defeated Kotoku Royals to end their winless run.

In Accra on Saturday, Hearts of Oak claimed their first win of the new season after beating Bibiani Gold Stars.
Gold Stars opened the scoring through Prince Owusu and Hearts got the equalizer from Isaac Mensah before snatching the maximum points courtesy of Gladson Awako’s sublime free-kick.
Nsoatreman FC also stunned Karela United 3:0 to climb to the fourth position.
Stephan Diyou scored twice to inspire the newly promoted side to their second victory of the season.
He opened the scoring in the 7th minute and got the third goal during the 69th minute. Mohammed Yakubu was also on target for the hosts.
In El Wak, Legion Cities drew 1-1 with Berekum Chelsea. Alex Aso fired Legon Cities into the lead in the 59th minute and Berekum Chelsea equalised just after three minutes.
In Dewu, Accra Lions picked their third victory of the season with a 1:0 win over Dreams FC. With the match heading for a draw, Shawkan Mohammed scored a 77th minute goal to hand the visitors the win, which would also go down as their third consecutive win of the Ghana Premier League.
However, Aduana Stars also secured a 1-0 away victory over Medeama SC in Tarkwa.
Wakii Godfred scored the important goal in the 20th minute to extend the Ogya Boys unbeaten run to four.
Meanwhile the Kumasi derby between King Faisal and Asante Kotoko will be played on Monday to wrap up the fixtures for week four.
